Empower 2 B You is a small nonprofit organization. We collect as little information as possible, we do not sell it, and we do not share it except where described below.

When you use our contact form: your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to provide it, the subject you select, and whatever you write in your message.

When you donate: donations are processed by Zeffy, an outside donation platform. Zeffy collects your name, email address, country and state, and your payment details. We never see or store your card or bank details. What we receive from Zeffy is your name, email address, the amount you gave, and your general location, so that we can thank you and keep proper records.

Automatically: our website is served over the internet, so standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type may be recorded by the services that host and deliver this site. We use Google Fonts to display type, which means Google receives a request from your browser when a page loads.

We do not require accounts or passwords. We do not collect government identification numbers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. This site is not directed at children.

To answer your message. To acknowledge your donation and send your tax receipt. To keep the financial and donor records a 501(c)(3) is required to keep. That is all.

Zeffy, which processes donations on our behalf. Our email provider, which delivers messages to us. Government agencies, if we are legally required to disclose something.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not trade or rent donor lists.

We do not run advertising on this site and we do not use cross-site tracking. The Zeffy donation form is provided by Zeffy and may set its own cookies when you use it; their privacy policy governs that form. We do not knowingly permit any third party to collect information about your activity across other websites.

We publish photographs from our events. If you or your child appears in a photograph on this site and you would like it removed, write to us and we will take it down. You do not need to give a reason.

Contact form messages are kept only as long as we need them to respond. Donation records are kept as long as required for tax and reporting purposes.

Write to info@empower2byou.org and tell us what you would like to see, correct, or delete. We will respond within a reasonable time, and we will not charge you for it.

If we make a material change, we will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date at the top. Please check back occasionally.
